During CES 2019 I visited multiple developers of autonomous shuttles and vehicles. Here is an overview.
May Mobility
Founded 2017 in Ann Arbor startup May Mobility focusses as well on developing small autonomous shuttles like this one here:
Mobility Pod
This year France was strongly present at the CES, even with this Mobility Pod.
Olli
I have heard a lot about the Olli by Local Motors, but only at the CES I had the first time an opportunity to see the vehicle at the booth of LiDAR-manufacturer Velodyne.
ZF
If your main business is building transmission and those are going away with electric vehicles, you have to have new ideas. ZF is working on it…
Torc Robotics
Torc Robotics, founded by Virginia Tech students, is using Fiat Chrysler Pacifica minivans – like Waymo or Voyage – as platform for their autonomous shuttles.
Wind
Wind is not really building autonomous vehicles, but the software that is capable of running multiple operation systems on the same piece hardware – at the same time.
