This BMW measurement vehicle was spotted by our reader Dino Konrad on Friday, February 13th, 2020 on the A9 Autobahn coming from Munich in the direction of Ingolstadt at the Garching area.
What is the purpose of this vehicle? Mapping? Sensor or algorithm test? Any hints are appreciated.

I spotted a Audi A7 on the Danish highway E45 on May 19 with similar roof-mounted equipment. From the license plate (Aschaffenburg) it looks like it could be from the same company as this BMW? https://imgur.com/a/4CPYfwa
