A test vehicle from Mercedes Benz was spotted in Stuttgart today. Clearly visible are four lidars, radar and camera on the rearview mirror in a rather rudimentary setup. The sideways downward arrangement of the lidars indicates a mapping vehicle that creates high-precision navigation maps.
