Following the positive news at Tesla, another electric car manufacturer, Rivian, is reporting records. The fledgling company produced 13,992 vehicles and delivered 12,640 in Q2 2023. This represented a 218 percent increase in BEVs produced and 183 percent increase in BEVs delivered compared to the same quarter last year. Analysts’ expectations were 11,000 vehicles, which was exceeded.

Rivian, whose model line includes three models – the R1T pickup, the R1S SUV and the van – is thus well on its way to achieving its self-imposed annual target of 50,000 vehicles delivered.
