With 466,140 vehicles delivered and 479,700 produced, Tesla has once again presented a record quarter. 83 percent more vehicles delivered than the same quarter last year, and 10 percent more than the previous record quarter, the first quarter of 2023, with the Model 3 and Y taking the biggest chunk with 446,915 vehicles delivered and 460,211 produced.
With deliveries to date since the beginning of the year at 889,015 and vehicles produced at 920,508 Model S/X/3/Y, Tesla is on track to produce more than two million cars in 2023.

While Tesla is rushing from record quarter to record quarter, the competition is struggling. Volkswagen, for example, announced a cutback in the production of electric vehicles due to a lack of demand for its lackadaisical own offerings.
