Distance and lane keeping are functions that can now be expected from any modern vehicle equipped with a driver assistance system (with some notable exceptions). The Tesla Full Self Driving feature, which is available in the current version V12.3.6 for Tesla owners in North America, and which has been trained with driving data from human-driven Teslas, shows some interesting behaviors.
Here, the vehicle steers through a supermarket parking lot with lots of pedestrian traffic and vehicles entering and exiting the parking lot in search of a parking space:
The following behavior is also interesting, where the vehicle pulls out of a queue of turning vehicles and then subsequently gets back in line further ahead.
