A Model 3 without side mirrors, but with camera installations at the rear and apparently also on the rear side windows, was spotted in the San Francisco Bay Area on Highway 280. This highway runs past the Tesla research center in Palo Alto. The two vehicles spotted had Texas license plates.
Are these simply camera tests or are they the first publicly visible tests for the Tesla Robotaxi, which is scheduled to be unveiled on August 8?
