BMW Qualcomm Vehicle Spotted in Vorarlberg, Austria

This BMW was spotted by our reader Thomas Metzler today at 7:55 am in Hard in Vorarlberg. The vehicle was coming from the direction of Bregenz, Thomas took the photos at the Alma bus stop (Rheinstraße).

Data processing for Cooperation Test Vehicles operated by BMW and QUALCOMM

We want to improve the vehicle comfort and ultimately contribute to road safety by introducing new technologies for further development of assisted, connected, partly automated and autonomous vehicle comfort functions.
In course of this cooperation, BMW and Qualcomm together use appropriately marked test vehicles (“Cooperation Test Vehicles”) to record data from various sensors, including video recordings of the vehicle environment.
