Driverless Waymo Spotted in Mountain View, Followed by an Unknown Test Vehicle

So far, driverless Waymos have been in commercial robotaxi service in and southwest of San Francisco, but now sightings of driverless Waymos in Mountain View are piling up (video from a few weeks ago), with a new video below. The question now is, if we can soon expect an expansion of Waymo’s commercial robotaxi service into the heart of the Bay Area? Waymo already has commercial approval.

And another test vehicle with lidar and cameras has also been spotted again (here a few days ago), this time following the Waymo. The operator of this unknown test vehicle is not known.
