Uber Opens Waymos in Atlanta for Early Riders

The transportation network service provider Uber has shone in recent months with the announcement of many partnerships with the developers of robotaxi services. Now Waymo, the first robotaxi service under the Uber flag, appears to be going into operation. As the company announced in a LinkedIn post, a select number of registered users in Atlanta, so-called early riders, will be able to use Waymos from this week.

Operations for all users are scheduled to begin in the summer.
