A New York-based automotive start-up named Dacora Motors will unveil its electric vehicle to the public for the first time at the Audrain Concours d’Elegance in Rhode Island from October 2 to 10.
Some details of the vehicle stand out: the hood is handmade from walnut or a wood of the customer’s choice. The dashboard is also made of solid wood and features dials with rotary controls and surrounding tactile buttons. Each seat in the vehicle has special exterior storage compartments tailored to individual needs. Under the distinctive hood is a spacious compartment that can hold a complete set of skis, for example.
The key data of the vehicle: estimated range of 400 miles (720 kilometers), weight of 2950 kilograms, 800 hp, 114 centimeters of legroom, 19 centimeters of ground clearance, 700 liters of storage space.
The vehicle can be reserved with a deposit of $50,000 and costs from $500,000.
