DoorDash Introduces Cute Delivery Robot Dot

Why drive to the supermarket or restaurant yourself, or why hire an Uber Eats or DoorDash driver, when a cute little robot can do it too? The delivery service DoorDash has unveiled its new delivery robot, which travels on sidewalks, can use bike paths and roads, and thus makes local home deliveries. With its striking bright red exterior and two large eyes, it looks cute and resembles a stroller in shape.

With its four wheels, which steer with the front axle, Dot can reach speeds of up to 32 km/h (20 mph). Inside, it can hold several shopping bags and has four cup holders.
