Waymo Driving in Tokyo – Visualization and POV

Waymo Co-CEO Dmitri Dolgov published a first video of a Waymo navigating the streets of Tokyo. He commented:

The Waymo Driver showing good signs of generalizability beyond the US: simulation (top) of real driving data (bottom) is looking very encouraging, demonstrating robustness to left-hand traffic and other local specifics

London, the second location outside the US, will also soon be ready for test drives.
