Waymo Expands to New Orleans, Tampa, and Minneapolis

There’s no time to catch your breath. Waymo has barely announced that it will start operations in San Antonio, Miami, Houston, Orlando, and Dallas, and already Waymo is stepping up its game. New Orleans, Tampa, and Minneapolis are now the next regions for the robot taxi service.

This pace shows one thing: Waymo has left the test phase far behind and is now rapidly rolling out a proven technology in more and more regions.

However, one question remains: now that the stock of existing Jaguar iPace vehicles has been used up, with around 3,500 vehicles, which vehicle platforms will Waymo use to supply the next cities?
