Two Waymos Collide in San Francisco and Deadlock the Street

These two Waymos collided on an uphill street in San Francisco, leading to a deadlock in the street, with a third Waymo and a box truck getting stuck on the street as well. The video was posted on reddit, not showing the collision, but the aftermath.

While there seems to be no visible damage to the cars and they rather have a soft smooch, the question arises, what caused that collision. This type of incident looks very similar to one a few months ago that happened at the Phoenix airport. Also two Waymos had a similar contact event at the dropoff zone at the airport.
