Waymo Launches Robotaxi Service in Nashville

As of today, Waymo’s self-driving cars are also available to the public in Nashville, Tennessee. Waymo covers approximately 60 square miles (155 square kilometers) of the city.

This brings the total number of metropolitan areas in the U.S. with commercial self-driving robotaxis to 11. By the end of the year, there are expected to be more than twenty Waymo robotaxi fleets in operation.
