Shortly after the California DMV stopped Uber from testing their self-driving taxi fleet on the streets of San Francisco, the cars were moved to Arizona. Uber refused to apply for a license to test self-driving vehicles on public roads. As a result of that refusal the DMV withdrew the registration for Uber’s cars.
In a quick move Arizona’s gouvernor Doug Ducey offered Uber in a Tweet to test their cars in his state instead. In pictures published by TechCrunch the cars can be seen being loaded and transported on self-driving Ot.to-trucks.
