Nuro and CarOne Receive California Test License

Nuro and CarOne are the 28th and 29th entity to receive a license to test autonomous vehicles on public roads in California.

The Nuro-founders are two former employees of Google’s self-driving group, Jiajun Zhu and Dave Ferguson. According to Recode the startup was in September 2016. The company has raised money but not disclosed how much. Nuro plans to build a ‘Level 4’ autonomous vehicle.

There is no information yet about CarOne.
