Tesla Now Worth More Than BMW

Today, June 8th, 2017, the market capitalization of Tesla surpassed the market cap of the first German car company. BMW’s market capitalization was at the end of the day at 54.63 billion Euros (61.24 billion dollars).

The market capitalization of Tesla stood at 1pm Eastern Time at 54.87 billion Euros (61.52 billion dollars) and surpassed BMW’s market capitalization by 0.24 billion Euro (0.28 billion dollars).

This tendency has already been foreshadowing in the past weeks, when Tesla became worth more than GM and Ford. BMW is now the first German automaker that Tesla surpasses.
