While the Jaguar iPace has been available for some time, only now I had the opportunity to inspect the car from close. The conference Doors & Closures in Car Body Engineering 2018 in Bad Nauheim had one car on exhibit and I was all over it and looked at some details
What’s immediately noteworthy are the door handles that are, like at Tesla’s Model S and X, are retractable and move out when the car key is coming close. The vehicle also has a frunk, which has certainly more generous dimension than the one in the Audi e-tron and has one, as opposite to the Mercedes EQC.
Surprisingly enough, the iPace also has a Cardan tunnel in the back, like the EQC, even though both are electric vehicles. Anyhow, here are some pictures:
