The last days news of purposely blocked Tesla supercharger stations have been reported. This behavior known as “ICE-ing” sees charging stations meant for electric vehicles being blocked by pickup trucks taking up most or all spaces. Those pickup trucks of course are fueled by gasoline or diesel and do not need electric charging. The reason for that behavior by the owners of the pickup trucks is sometimes a grudge for parking spots taken up by charging stations or other irrational reasons, and is simply bullying.
ICE is the abbreviation for internal combustion engine.
Now a Tesla-owner tested whether his Model X can pull a three or four ton pickup truck. The pickup he used in his experiment was provided by the Tesla-owner’s sister. Here is the result:
