Luminar: Unidentified Autonomous Mercedes Van Spotted in Las Vegas

This unidentified autonomous Mercedes-Benz Van with a LiDAR mounted on the roof was spotted on January 9th, 2019 at around 10:45am on the Las Vegas Boulevard (‘Strip’) stuck in CES 2019 traffic.

Any hints about the company are as always highly appreciated.

UPDATE: The van is Luminar Technologies. It is not autonomous. It is a demo platform used for showing their Lidar compared to Velodyne’s.
