Atlas Robotic 63rd Company With Californian Test License

Laboratory explosions and polar bear robots are some of the things visitors of Atlas Robotic‘s website can learn about. And they can hear about much more nerdy stuff about the San Francisco based robot manufacturer, focusing on entertainment robots.

The company was founded in 1984(!) and received as the 63rd company a license from California DMV, allowing them to test autonomous vehicles on all public roads. Well well, I can’t wait seeing the world’s first autonomous polar bear robot roaming the streets of San Francisco…

UPDATE: Christian Roth from FKA did a more detailed research and figured out that Atlas Robotics is not the above mentioned company, but another one that is still in stealth modus.
