Uber Gets California Test License Back

Almost two years after being involved in a fatal accident in Arizona, Uber was again granted a license to test autonomous cars on all public roads in California. Until March 2018, after some tug-of-war and a dispute with the California Department of Motor Vehicles, Uber had a license, but it was not renewed after the accident.

This makes Uber the 66th company with such a license. Uber is not yet planning any test drives.
