KFC Delivery Robots In Shanghai

Not only in Silicon Valley, delivery robots and autonomous vehicles are en vogue with the breakout and lockdowns due to COVID, but also in China they are used diligently. In front of a subway station in Shanghai these Neolix delivery robots were spotted with the Kentucky Fried Chicken logo.

The robots are equipped with 5G and are nothing more than a modern version of vending machines, where you can select by smartphone and pay for the goods by QR code. With the difference that the vending machines can automousely drive away and be reloaded at a base station after the work is done.
