Exactly one year ago, Zoox, a startup acquired by Amazon in 2020, unveiled its newly developed robotaxi in San Francisco. Today, 12 months to the day later, Zach Church, software engineering manager at Zoox, posted a short video on Twitter showing a test drive of the vehicle in a parking lot. It is believed to be a parking lot at Zoox headquarters in Foster City.
The most interesting thing here is that we get a nice view of the car’s interior and can also clearly see the skylights. We can also see the control panels on each side of the seats, which offer space for two people and are arranged opposite each other. The vehicle itself seems to be moving quite briskly.
