Sightings of Mercedes-Benz Mapping Cars

In the last days, several Mercedes-Benz mapping cars were spotted in the San Francisco Bay Area and around Munich in Germany.

This Mercedes-Benz with a Lidar rack was spotted by our reader Max Hanselmann on Autobahn 9 in Munich towards Nuremberg, at the Munich-Freimann exit on April 20th, 20204.

The next vehicles were both spotted in California. The first vehicle was spotted on Leavesley Rd in Gilroy on April 21st, 2024 . The second vehicle was spotted on the intersection of State Road 237 Service Road and Middlefield Road on April 16th, 2024.
