Waymo Expands Testwise Robotaxi-Service to the Bay Area

After Waymo received the commercial license for its robotaxi service Waymo One a few months ago for the extension from San Francisco to Sunnyvale, the company announced today that it will conduct the first driverless tests from San Francisco to Burlingame in the next few weeks. During this test phase, the service will be available exclusively to employees.

The roads covered will include freeways for the first time.
