Note: this vehicle still had a steering wheel, unlike the one shown at CES 2023.

In 2021, Waymo and Geely introduced a version of the new mobility-focused, all-electric Zeekr RT vehicle, designed for autonomous ride-hailing and testing on public roads today. The rider-first vehicle features a flat floor for easier ingress and egress, thanks to an integrated B-pillar design, low step-in height, generous head and legroom, and adjustable seats. While ensuring a level of safety consistent with U.S. federal vehicle standards now, our Waymo One riders will one day experience an interior without a steering wheel or pedals.
