About 500 Ojais Waiting at the Waymo Factory

Reddit user mingoslingo92 regularly posts drone footage of the Waymo factory in Mesa, Arizona, which provides a good overview of the status of the new robotaxis’ equipment. Right at the start of June, he posted new drone footage on reddit showing nearly 500 of the Zeekr RT-based Ojais. With this, Waymo is massively expanding its fleet of Ojais equipped with the 6th-generation Waymo Driver and will likely begin phasing out the existing Jaguar iPaces. These Ojais are significantly cheaper to manufacture and equip than the iPaces, marking an important step toward profitability for Waymo.
