Einride Truck Driving Autonomously for Lidl

An autonomous, driverless Einride truck has been operating in Edermünde, south of Kassel, since last week, transporting goods from a central warehouse to a Lidl supermarket in Germany. Part of the route—a few hundred meters—takes place on public roads. The Einride truck, which is not only driverless but also completely cabless, makes the trip one to three times a day.
