With more and more robotaxis from different manufacturers on the same roads, new problems are constantly arising. While the vehicles were previously trained to deal with the erratic driving behavior of human drivers, they are now encountering their own kind: other robotaxis. And these behave in a different, erratic way than humans do.
We’ve already seen “duels,” but now the first three-way showdown has been filmed: a Zoox, a Waymo, and a Tesla Cybercab faced off, captured on video by amused pedestrians.
