The online training platform Udacity offers this October an online course for students who want to earn a nanodegree for self-driving car engineers. The platform was founded by nobody else than Sebastian Thrun, winner of the 2005 DARPA Grand Challenges, former professor for artificial intelligence in Stanford, and former head of Google’s self-driving car technology department.
I registered for the course Nanodegree Self-Driving Car Engineer and will be reporting regularly of what I learned. Here is a video that announces the course:
Already a year ago I took a free Udacity-course on Artificial Intelligence for Robots, which was also taught by Sebastian Thrun.
