Online learning platform Udacity announced new hiring partners for its upcoming nanodegree on self-driving cars. The companies are searching for engineers for their own autonomous car initiatives. Udacity is starting in October their nine-month-long course that teaches the basics to develop self-driving cars. Udacity guarantees that every alumni will find a job.
The hiring partner companies include so far Mercedes, NVIDIA, HCL, NextEV, LeEco, Ot.to, Didi Kuai, BMW, Local Motors, Polysync, Autonomous Stuff, McLaren, HERE and EB.
The electric car maker Tesla announced yesterday that starting today all hardware to enable autonomous driving will be included from now on in their cars. The functionality shall be available for customers in 2018. A video demonstrated this feature.
