Several self-driving cars from Cruise Automation, which was acquired by GM in 2016 for $1bn, popped up in Scottsdale, Arizona. Reddit-user bam2403 took the pictures. What’s interesting is that the cars seem to have additions to the roof-mounted lidars. On the front of the cars we see two additional sensors sticking out from the usual seen sensor configuration.
According to the CA DMV Disengagement Reports, Cruise Automation had at the end of last year 25 self-driving cars on the road.
