Box Bot 55th Company With California Test License

The Oakland-bases startup Box Bot is the latest company to get a test license for autonomous vehicles in California. It’s the 55th entity. The startup was founded in 2016 by two former Uber and Tesla engineers and focuses on solving the last mile deliver problem.

The company won in 2017 Berkeley’s prestigious Pears Award, with prize money of 250,000 dollars.
