Waymo Performs First Tests With Autonomous Vehicles In Europa

Google-sister Waymo showcased its self-driving technology for the first time in Europe. On the test track of Waymo-partner Fiat Chrysler Automobiles near Turin several Waymo vehicles interacted with other cars, pedestrians, bicyclists, obstacle and – birds.

In total 70 rides were given for people present. Waymo has already 600 Fiat Chrysler minivans in operation and just announced the purchase of another 62,000 vehicles.
