Swedish startup Einride introduced an autonomous log transporter named T-log for work in forest areas. The electric truck can transport up to 16 tons or load and has a range of 120 miles (192 kilometers) with its 300 kWh-battery. The vehicle has no cabin for a driver, like its sibling the Einride T-pod.
The vehicle uses Nvidia Drive self-driving platform, bringing it to Level 4 autonomy. The T-log can also be operated remotely. Einride just signed a partnership with Phantom Auto.
The T-log is supposed to start operating in 2020. Einride is already conducting tests with the T-pod in collaboration with German retailer Lidl.
