A Lincoln MKZ equipped with cameras and other sensors was spotted on California Avenue in Palo Alto. Both cameras are mounted on the side mirrors and are facing downwards. On the roof two circular sensors were attached, and one other on the trunk. The vehicle displayed a manufacturer license plate from Michigan, which points at this vehicle being a test mule for Ford Motor Company.
Any hints about the purpose of the sensors and cameras are appreciated.
