Our reader Niki Ernst has spotted an Uber Mapping vehicle along the Embarcadero in San Francisco, and right away he sent us the pictures. On the roof of the Nissan Sentra is a lidar mounted, along a box that seems to be a casing for multiple cameras.
On the Uber-Website depicted is a similar arrangement, but mounted on a Chevrolet Bolt.
