Reddit-user blafurznarg spotted this Citroën on a German Autobahn. On the roof we can see a Velodyne HDL-32E LiDAR. In the back of the back bumper seem to be more sensors attached. This vehicles is probably a mapping car, and could be operated either by Citroën themselves (a French car maker operating in Germany?), or it could be operated by the local automotive supplier IAV. At least the license plate from Ludwigsburg may hint at that. Still, it’s unusual that it would also camouflage the car like this.
The car seems to be a Citroën C4 Cactus hatchback. Any hints what company that is is highly appreciated.
Thanks for the hint to our reader Engelbert Hagemeyer.
