GMCruise Maneuvering in San Francisco [VIDEO]

General Motor’s self-driving department – Cruise Automation / GMCruise – is testing end developing with dozens of their vehicles in San Francisco. I recently posted some videos of them.

Today, GMCruise posted a three-and-a-half minute video of challenging driving situations, which shows what situations a self-driving car has to be able to master.

Double parked cars, sudden car doors being opened o front of the approaching vehicle, pedestrians who can’t decide where to go in the middle of the road, traffic cones, left turns blocked by buses, and similar scenarios are shown here.
