Unidentified Vehicle Spotted on A81 in Germany

Slowly, some activities from Germany in regards to autonomous vehicles are being recorded and documented. A reader sent me this image of a camouflaged vehicle with a LiDAR mounted on the roof, driving on the Autobahn A81 around Stuttgart.

The car seems to be a mapping vehicles, as there is only one L:iDAR and no other sensors visible.

Any hints are highly appreciated.

UPDATE: The vehicle seems to be a new Renault 208. Whether this is Renault operating the LiDAR-equipped vehicles is unclear.

UPDATE 2: it’s a vehicle from RLE International, an engineering service provider in the automotive sector.
