RLE Test Vehicle Spotted in Germany

This vehicle with a LiDAR on the roof attached to a wild looking frame was spotted in Germany. it appears to be a vehicle by automotive engineering service provide RLE . The vehicle has been spotted in the past on Highway 81.

Noteworthy is the camouflage of the vehicle, which is kind of sloppy and calling for attention. This goes counter the efforts of the vehicle occupants to stop people taking pictures. What exactly the purpose of sensor mounts and this arrangement is, is unknown to us.
