About a year ago a executives from a German OEM asked me, “What would an electric car from us have to be able to do that you would switch from your Tesla to us?” This being a very good question, I wrote a longer blog on all the elements that I saw. While most think only about the car itself, I listed 7 additional main areas, one of which I called “Peace of Mind“.
Yesterday, I got this message from Tesla on my Model 3 asking me to not charge between 4pm and 9pm, due to the current heat wave in California and the rolling blackouts.
And that is a prime example of how Tesla’s ongoing effort of caring about owners and their communities.
