A few more weeks and then Mercedes’ first electric car in the Tesla class, the EQS, will be available. And with it the test reports and sightings are increasing. I now received these pictures from Martin Ulbrich, who contrasted his Tesla Model S with the EQS and thus allows a first size comparison. At 5.216 meters, the EQS is almost 30 centimeters longer than the Model S at 4.979 meters. In width, the EQS is 1.926 meters just under four centimeters less wide than the Model S with its 1.964 meters. However, with a weight of between 2,480 and 2,585 kilograms, the EQS is considerably heavier than the Model S, which has a curb weight of between 2,000 and 2,100 kilograms.
