Torrance, California-based electric car startup Canoo has now released its pickup truck for pre-order, following an initial passenger vehicle and delivery van. On the company’s website, with a $100 deposit, the vehicle is available for pre-order.
The pickup comes with some small but nice details, like a pull-out cargo bed, fold-down side panels, power outlets and also a rectangular steering wheel (a.k.a. yoke steering control), like the new Tesla Model S already.
The performance data: more than 500 hp, 800 kilograms (1,800 pounds) load weight, over 320 kilometers (200 miles) range, between 1.8 and 2.4 meters (6-8 feet) load area and with all-wheel or rear axle drive.
The vehicle is scheduled for delivery from 2023.
