From our reader Gerd Moll we received this series of photos of a Mercedes camera test vehicle. The inscription on the driver’s door assigns the vehicle to Mercedes Benz AG, which is used for video testing. It is equipped with at least six LiDARs (visible in the photos), four of which are pointed at the ground.
The vehicle was spotted on the A81 in Germany on August 6, 2021.
