Lucid Motors Starts 2nd Phase of Factory Extension

With its first deliveries set to begin at the end of October 2021, electric car maker Lucid Motors is now moving to expand its Casa Grande factory in Arizona. The new buildings are expected to be 2.8 million square feet, nearly three times the size of the current 1 million square-foot building.

The new parts of the factory will house an assembly plant and the warehouse. Currently, 1,000 employees work at the factory in Casa Grande. Automotive suppliers are to move into the adjacent technology park.

Lucid Motors is also in the process of opening a branch in Munich.
