A total of 360 Lucid Air Dream Edition vehicles, which were limited to a few hundred units, were delivered in the first quarter of 2022 by the Newark, California-based electric carmaker, Lucid Motors reported after-hours today. This means that the company has handed over a total of 485 vehicles to customers since deliveries began in October 2022.
Revenues were $57.7 million (54.7 million euros), with 30,000 pre-orders and this year the company expects 12,000 to 14,000 deliveries. In cash, Lucid reports $5.4 billion (5.1 billion euros).
It will also begin shipping the first Lucid Air Grand Touring variants, which will not be $170,000 like the Dream Edition, but will be available starting at a ‘comfortable’ $139,000. and as of June 1, prices for new orders are also scheduled to increase.
